When my city was fifty

My name is Luis and I was born in a city named Sapezinho. Today it is eighty.

I am forty.

Now the city is big but in the past it was very small.

I remember when I was fifteen there were just some streets. Now there are a lot of them.

I and my friends were very smarts and we were in all parts of the city all the time.

My family was very poor. There were two rooms in my house. There was one kitchen and there was another room where there were five beds.

            There were two animals:  one horse and one dog.

            Today I’m a doctor and I live in Campinas with all my family.  I love my hometown and I go to there every year.
